Why the heck does it look like Arcane writers listened to Epic before writing Jayce's arc in season 2? Usually when people say "this is X's song" it's an exaggeration of a true statement, but this time it's as literal as it could be. You were cooking with this one

It is insane how well this song works holy shit. Jayce even killed a kid But yeah this whole thing is a dessert for the eyes but god that bit where he's realizing why everyone acted monstrous is good. Actually haunting I love u. Jayce is actually a pretty darn good character, his and Viktor's relationship had been one my favorite aspects of all of Arcane.

OMG THIS FITS SO WELL!!!! i loved how all the characters fit into their place perfectly.
like yea Ambessa is kinda a god, a force to be reckoned with. Jinx does act like Polyphemus in that she avenges not just Silco but also Zaun. Cait doess kill to protect her people because she has felt that pain.

A rare Jayce-centric animatic open all to my eyes?? This world is healing.

Though in all seriousness, Jayce has become one of my favorite, or probably my all time favorite character in the series! Despite being over-slanderized by the community, his story is what made me intrigued much; him wanting to help piltover as well as his best friend, Viktor, with his vision of Hextech, until he was pushed into politics, trying to help both Piltover and Zaun yet making brash decisions. It's also amazing despite all the failures and mistakes he made, he didn't give up, trying to help others in need as well trying to stop Viktor. I love that I'm not the only one who thinks his arc in season 2 is as similar as Odysseus, from a naive leader to a viscous "monster" in order to reach their goals.
