Well I’m very tempted! In particular the red/black colours are compelling. If you walk into a motorrad dealer and ask the guys there “which bike do you own?” Most say “oh i have an RT”

However, a few things still hold me back from going GS to RT. (i) why does it weigh 35kg more than a GS ? (ii) why no TFT display? (iii) why, and this applies to the K1600 too, are the pockets in the fairing so small ? They wont accommodate and charge a modern phone (iv) why are the panniers not stronger? When opened the “lids” flex and wobble (v) who designed the shockingly poor menus on the LCD display?
