Numbers Stations have been going for decades. Every country has them. Interesting but boring to listen to without the relevant one time pads

Very interesting, but not much to do with the title of the video. Could you do one now on how spies might use radios these days please?

A small 4 watt handheld transceiver can be used as a burst transceiver to relay information to orbiting satellites or airplane that can be done virtually undetectable.. The internet can also be used where information is encoded in all sorts of things like video, pictures, text..

Amazing channel with good narration!

I just really dislike the AI images of their faces.

You don‘t have to do this, you are good enough on your own and you can come up with better things :)

How could they fall for the fake Cuban agent if they were so connected ? What happened to their old handler ? Wouldn’t they be able to ask them like hey do you know this guy he’s saying he’s intelligence)

I remember listening to some German number stations on my fist short-wave radio as a young boy in the early 1970's in Switzerland. I remember somebody told me that the communications originated from submarines in the North Sea...
Thanks for your interesting video. Cheers from Outback Australia...

I really appreciate how you allow the main topic to somewhat ebb and flow in a way that allows for more back story and exposition surrounding these real world cases. Anyone can watch a 5 minute video to learn what number stations are, but this provided a far more in depth history of their practical use.

Sorry I dislike the AI images, using them for historical things on the real world is a bit strange.

Just found your channel. I was a MI SIGINT guy in the mid 80s. This was a blast from the past. Well done.

@ 25:17

WWIII began with Operation Masterdom in
Vietnam on September 13, 1945

We've lost almost 100, 000 KIA in the battles of that continuing war.

It isn't, and never was "Cold."

Appparently a Russian spy rented a room above the liquor store at the end of Key Bridge in Georgetown. When they searched the apartment above the Dixie Liquor store in Georgetown, in Washington D.C., they discovered a shortwave radio.
