The back and forth is some of the best comedic relief in the show, not forced at all.

There are very few people that put Red on edge the way Glenn does. It's amazing how we see Red as this calm and suave "Concierge of Crime" 99% of the time and is even super polite when he's holding someone at gunpoint.... Then enter.... Glenn, one of - if not only person to challenge Reds psyche..

Glenn loves to infuriate and annoy Red on purpose (being in the DMV and
all), and Red seems to almost like getting to vent at him before
reaching an agreement. Incredibly fun dynamic between them!

I miss these two going back and forth with their yelling. When Red gets poor and needs money to buy guns, Glenn is the first person he calls, and Glenn gives Red almost 1 million USD knowing that it's to be used for criminal activities just because his friend needed it

It’s hilarious that of all the crime and villainy that Red faced - it’s the guys who are brutally honest yet the best at their job (to an extent) which turn out to be Red’s greatest match. Notice how Red doesn’t do a speech of metaphors or calling back the days of youth

He knows it’s wasted
