Looks like I will be trying this very soon. I appreciate this a lot. After all of these years, the X52 Pro is still the best-looking HOTAS on the market.

To anyone watching this in modern times, you can get the same effect from cutting out any plastic circle (i did from the top of a pringles can) and cutting a slit into it going into the middle to a hole just big enough to fit around the metal stick part. Zip ties might give you a little more tension that this though. I just didnt have any zip ties on hand lol.

must be in the upper and downsides ? i have cleaned my joy few weeks and added silicone grease but i thin the springs have much tension, this method will reduce the tension of the spring ? thanks ...
