I came back from uni literally crying in the bus in silent cause of how horrible I did in the exam and how much work I have to do and there’s no time to rest or catch my breath . Now I’m eating lunch and watching this vid and I feel much better thank u

I feel like you and youtube are listening to my heart slowly beating faster and faster because of the stress I have of falling behind with everything I have to do in these next couple of weeks. This video could honestly not have come in a better period.

I hv ADHD and uts really hard for me to stay focused. Ur video truly motivate me through that, i watch ur study with me and try to sit in one place and complete my task as much as possible.
I find it very fascinating how u provide good content and study productively and also have time for urself. U honestly motivate me to do better everyday😄💫

This video comes at the best time! I was diagnosed of lupus in September and missed most of my autumn term as a final year a level student. My parents are worried that I won’t be able to catch up on all the work on time and get good grades and ask me to consider deferring, but I want to stick through the last 6 months of my high school. Thanks for the video!!

At this point, I've got 3 months of stuff overdue to do... and I started 3 months. Yeah, you figured it out - it's my first time I'm studying something and I got big problems with concentration, my dopamine level and especially just starting. Believer of "waiting for the right moment" to start. Well, I clicked on the video that fast, because I thought it's that moment NOW. A sign, I guess? So I got what I wanted, but now it's time to act. I got work in 2 hours and I will try to finish at least one small topic which should take like 20mins. After work, I will finish my next task, which shouldn't take more than 1h. More than good effort for DAY 1 I think. Let's get started, will update this comment for myself to experience a bit of accountability. Hope that some of you watching the video or reading this comment could take something away for their own personal situation!

Edit:
Task 1 done, now off to work. Tackling task 2 afterwards 💪
Task 2 took some time, still procrastinated, but I did a rough draft, telling myself it doesn't have to be perfect. Looking forward to day 2 & more. 😊

Thanks Kharma! Crucial much needed video since quarantine started 🙃 ( the worst feeling is when you were doing ok, others think you've read ahead and studies 10 hrs a day, but in reality you are 2 semesters behind, stressing out all day doing nothing, after those assumptions)

My computer broke and as an athlete for my high school, I either miss the hours to do school or miss the hours to do my part for my team. My team matters more to me. I have 2 online college classes. I have my computer back and now I have loads of assignments and quizzes to make up, this is so stressful.

I was just making a plan on how to catch up as I have been prioritising social life more than studying. So I feel like this video was meant to be. Thank you! you saved my butt once again haha xx have a lovely day☺️

This year I spend half of my year trying to contemplate if I should live and in counselling . I have 2 months before exam and I have 10 breakdowns in 3 days. I think it is important we don’t think about Failing too much.

Wanna share my experience here.
I am a student at another country, and this year didn’t start for me well as I had huge problems with my residency and visa. All in all, studying really fell out of my priorities at that time, and then I had to leave to my homeland to renew my visa. I thought I would be away for a month or so. But that month then turned into three and a half. New semester started, and I still was waiting for my visa.
I hoped I would be able to study at home, but I should mention that sadly, it’s not the best place for my mental health. I felt ashamed of not being at uni, at my lessons, I had a lot of intrusive and bad thoughts, my harmful habits returned. And I couldn’t reach out for help ‘cause of shame. Uh.

I am now back at uni and behind for a whole semester of work. I missed my exams, which I will be retaking in the summer.

So i tried different tactics there. The one that worked — stick to the syllabus. I was trying to catch up by prioritizing the material I missed, but it just didn’t work. I didn’t really need that material, and started falling in the current syllabus, so I left that tactic.
STICK TO THE SYLLABUS, that’s the best solution for you. And yes, don’t focus only on your studies. Go out with friends, get a waffle with cup of coffee or whatever at some cafe, get yourself a new T-shirt. It really helps not to feel drowned in your problems and studies. YOUR LIFE SHOULDN’T CIRCLE JUST AROUND STUDYING.

I’ll be going to the office to ask about tutoring sessions during holidays, so wish me luck with my studies hehe
