They better be at that price. It would be sad if they weren't.

Couldn’t agree more iracing just always feels the best to me but I don’t have real life race experience so cool too see this is your go to.

PLEASE TRY RF2. Race Beyond Matter recently tried RF2 and was blown away and he loves iRacing too

I wish you would try rf2 and give comments! 😊

I like the braking feeling of the cars in iracing without abs too. Requires a lot of finesse on the limit.

Good to hear… I haven’t sim raced yet… only IRL and braking is my strongest suit. I don’t pass with the throttle, I pass with the brakes.

It just feels the best, while not perfect. Some models are a bit off, but overall is the most polished.

Yeah see I agree; BUT there’s no reason iRacing should charge its customers monthly and on top of that, require you to buy your way into the game. Personally, i think they would be the most popular choice in the racing world had it not been for greed. (Please don’t get me wrong, I do understand it requires a lot of work in order to replicate such realism as iRacing does but RF2 does it for muchhhh cheaper!)

It propably depends from car to car, but I have heard many other GT3 IRL drivers and they say that you pretty much smash 100% brake and keep it there for quite long, let the ABS do it's job and trail off at the end. But recently iracing did some major update on electronic systems and you can actually hit 100% brake pressure in a GT3 without locking up

I'm a nobody so my opinion isn't exactly valid but ACC is being too abused on the limit by the 'alien' drivers, that's why everyone is trying to brake like they do, as late as possible and 100% force for as long as possible. That's an easy exploit for laptimes >1 second faster than IRL, something that iRacing (sort of) has a handle on. But I've also seen other GT drivers say that they use ACC for training and that it's a great model that's very close to the real feeling. So basically, if you wanna drive at the real limit, how you'd drive in reality then you could argue that it's a far superior simulator, but driving beyond the limit may be the thing that you are referring to here which is a fair point. I wouldn't say iRacing doesn't have flaws however, it's severely lacking in many areas, one of which is the outdated tire model which is no small thing

Can you compare iRacing to rFacor2? Would be interesting, because rf2 is also quite good I think. You can prove me wrong

Seeing the 24hr nurburgring this weekend. People couldn't even drive around the carousel without the cars getting damage... very realistic... xD

The other huge feature over competitors is the damage, how close you can get to cars and the overall latency of other cars.

ACC is just cars flashing, half the time you dont know if you got hit and the brakes are just mush.

@Daniel: I think you touched a very sensible topic to Simracers and expressed a very strong opinion without testing yourself. The top Sims actual are iRacing and ACC with LFM Matchmaking / Leauge. A direct comparison iRacing, ACC and Real GT Car would be very very interessting to everyone regarding GT Car simulation. Fact, in ACC 1.9, they updated the Mercedes Benz AMG GT physics with actual real data regarding that ACC is the official sim for FIA GT championship. Would be very interessting to hear how realistic it is.

Started racing MX5s a few weeks ago and quickly hit 2k/B class rating and graduated to Advanced Cup. The driving and racing IS the best. And the sim as a whole is miles ahead in terms of overall user experience outside of just the FFB and racing.

But LFM on AC/ACC offers so much more value that iRacing loses the crown, except for real drivers and those with money to burn. For literally $3, you get the same quality racing, better FFB, a wider range of racing types, a goliath community of free/cheap modders, and a game that feels far newer than its age suggests. For $40 bundle, ACC offers similar, although less varied racing.

When I bought my first (and only) track in iRacing, the magic ended instantly. I will likely come back in the future, but AC/ACC LFM will steal the majority of road course racing enthusiasts from iRacing.

Don't listen all of them, they are just a sellers. Iracing is nothing but just a primitive old sim modernized for playing also using gamepad. They need more people, more money. This is not about racing and simulation of racing car and tires behavior

Have you tried ACC with its new physics model?

Just came out 2 weeks ago

I have no real life experience, but I have been playin all the big sims. For me rF2 feels best, but iRacing also is very good.
