I feel like Rode is on a mission to destroy my bank account. First the Procaster, PodMic, and now this...

I need this. This very well might be the best thing I've seen coming out in 2019!

Thanks for introducing the wireless microphone system. The engineer that designed the clip to fit on a cold/hot shoe is brilliant. No adapters is a good thing!

Finally a small solution! One great feature would be to simultaneously have internal audio recording from the TX without the need of the RX - even better if it could provide -6 or -12db setting as a backup.

I purchased the Rode Wireless GO not long after seeing an NAB video. I've tested it multiple ways, including attaching it to my Rode VideoMic Pro+ and using it as a boom mic with excellent results. For an independent film maker like myself, this is a huge win. Thanks. I'm now on the Rode to happiness.

Me watching this:

- "Cute but it looks a lot bigger than the new Sennh--"
[fits in the palm of his hand, is actually smaller than the Sennheiser XSW]

- "But I bet the battery doesn't last as long as the new Sennh--"
[battery lasts 7 hours]

- "Probably still comes with micro USB--"
[has a USB-C port]

- "That's so tiny, it would be neat to just have a lav mic that plugs directly into the unit with no messy wires to route through clothi--"
[has a BUILT-IN lav mic in the transmitter unit]

- "Receiver is tiny too, but I will still need a cold shoe adapter to mount it on the cam--"
[belt clip doubles as standard cold shoe mount]

- "Yeah, but the built-in lav mic probably sucks outdoo--"
[two furry clip-on windscreens included]

- "I wish all these tiny wireless lav systems had a way to monitor the audio level--"
[receiver has a nice little screen showing audio levels]

- "It's irritating that these tiny wireless lav systems don't have a way to adjust the gain for hot mics--"
[receiver has a dB button to adjust gain]

- "... "
[ ... ]

- "I am upset that I cannot find a single reason to not be impressed by this product."
[ -_- ]

You guys are god damn geniuses. I'm currently using the wireless filmmaker kit. But this does the same except it like 900x small AND RECHARGABLE BATTERY?! *AND* the transmitter has a built in Mic?! All for 200 bucks?! Please take my money

Tip: Normally the screen goes dim after about 8 seconds but if you push the main button on the receiver twice, the display remains at full brightness until you press it again. I discovered this just by playing around with it. This could be useful for visual monitoring outdoors though it would surely reduce battery life. I couldn’t find this feature listed on their website so I thought I’d put it out there.

I just got mine today and I have to say I am blown away at the quality, I don't have to alter the audio at all in Davinci. Thanks for creating one of the coolest items in my set up. Bravo !. Frank

Is there any solution with two microphones and one receiver? When I like to film two persons, speaking at the same time.

Did you use the Rode Wireless Go audio for this recording?

Looks like a nice kit but I’m not going to buy a system with a built in battery. I’d expect to use it longer than the lifetime of a battery.
