I bought it as soon as it was available here in Europe. It's amazing, great audio quality and ready to go just out of the box! Terrific wireless microphone from Røde. Great job...I'm waiting for lavalier GO now!

i own this for about half a year. its small, compact, and look futuristic.




what i dont like about it, is that we have to press the godamn button for 3sec on both unit (transmitter and receiver) to turned it on. and to turn it off, you need to press around 6secs on the receiver, and thank god it takes 1 min for the transmitter to automatically off when no signal from receiver.




this mic is not for get ready and go mic. you need time to prepare before you can use it.
and sometimes, you lose your transmitter, and it will ruin your mood.


otherwise, its doing pretty good job.

I spotted a Rode Video Micro connected to a Wireless go, being used by a BBC news team for a 'Social distancing' interview.
The Video Micro was on a microphone stand in front of the subject, and plugged into the Wireless Go, it was the red curly cable that caught my eye.

Comprei meu RODE WIRELLES GO A MAIS UM MENOS UM ANO.

Hoje coloquei para carregar e percebi que o transmissor TX não está marcando no status como carregado.
A bateria simplesmente fica marcando como se não tivesse carregado.
Já tentei de várias formas mais ele não marca o status como carregado. Sem mostra como se o tempo que ela passou carregando não tivesse acontecido.

Estou aqui no aguardo de suporte. Preciso muito desse microfone para minhas gravações.

I am using the RODE Wireless Go for a while but i am really dissapointed you dont have any firmware upgrade and that the Wireless Go cant work with RODE CENTRAL..

You should make it also possible for us WirelessGo users..

I thought that too until I saw tests that showed how the sound cut out when the speaker turned around only a few feet away. That made it completely unusable for me. I need a consistent signal 25 feet away with an animated speaker in front of a crowd. Love Rode mics, but not this one.

There have been reports of these being dead on arrival and that the internal mic fails after several uses with an external Lav. I think Rode was looking into these things (along with the tendency of the fur wind muff to fall off when touched sideways). It would be good to get some assurance from Rode and a timescale for these issues to be rectified. Great pro-mo video but lets have the truth about the issues reported and what Rode are ding about it. Then I'll buy one for sure. I have other Rode Mics which are excellent.

I guess a transmitter is still bigger than a lavalier but what I really don’t like is the fact that this devices has no removable batteries.

@RØDE Microphones Now that smartphones are no longer using headphone jack,
you guys should make the RØDE Wireless GO 2 with blue tooth support for the receiver end. #Suggestion. #IWouldBuy.
