Piki didn't deserve her fate. Poor lady was just trying to help a grieving woman who ignored her multiple times and still stayed to help. This is why people need to learn when it's time to stop helping someone who obviously doesn't want it.

People are saying, “how can you expect a grieving mother to be rational?!”, Piki….. Piki was a grieving mother and followed the ONE rule of not opening the door. That’s the entire reason why, she told Maria because Piki thought it would help her get through her grief too. She thought it would help Maria say her final goodbye, possibly apologize, and be at peace. Unfortunately, sometimes you to let people find their way on their own.

Again I say NOTHING GOOD ever comes from bringing someone back from the dead, no matter how sad you are or how much you are grieving.

Maria honestly made every single wrong choice possible. Michael was extremely disrespected and had so much patience it's mad. I had pity for her at first but by half way through she was clearly the problem

Suchitra Pillai who plays Piki is one the finest and underrated actors of bollywood. I never knew she did this movie.

She had one job. “Don’t open the door” whenever you do something, especially if it’s sinister and there’s only ONE RULE, you should probably listen to that ONE RULE cause it’s the ONLY F*CKING RULE. Which means that shit is probably important. Ik it’s a movie but damn🤦🏾‍♂️

Talks to the dead, literally visiting their realm.. then continues to "brush off" weird shit happening until shit really hits the fan.. aaah yes :D

What do we learn from this movie?

1. NEVER OPEN THE DOOR TO GHOSTS OR DEMONS TO COME TO THIS WORLD OR ELSE YOU AND EVERYBODY ELSE IS F*CKED

2. NEVER go near a child that you see crying while its back is facing you

Maria shouldve been the only one hurt in this movie, everyone else was just dragged into her bullshit

You see the piano playing by itself and still you decide to live in the same house. I wonder why people in scary movies continue to live in the same house even after knowing it's not safe?

Everyone hated Lori in the Walking Dead, everyone hates Maria in this movie. The actress does a great job to be hated on

Who would trust someone so deeply in grief to not act like a completely idiot? I wouldn't, it was clear that she would fuc<ed up from the beginning, she has too much guilt about it and since she blames herself for letting the boy die in the first time, of course she would risk having a ghost around her little daughter just to appease that guilt.

The mother does not love the son. She is obsessed with the idea of him. That's why she's OK with letting everyone around her suffer.

Aghori means that which is beyond terrible. Aghoris in real life are highly spiritual people who worship Shiva. They may look scary or do things which may look "weird and creepy" for people living in society, but they are harmless yet very powerful people.

What the mother did was impulsive and put the remaining family members in grave danger and there were instances where she could have rationalized when it came to increasing danger for her family but i completely understand how she just wanted her baby back which messed with her thinking😭😭
