Pet Sematary (2019): His daughter rises from the dead

After she was buried at the animal graveyard by her father, Ellie (Jeté Laurence) is brought back to life and comes back home. Louis (Jason Clarke), gives her a bath and puts her to bed but he quickly notices that his little girl has changed.

Her soul didn't come back, something else in the sour ground did. He knows something is off but can't help it. Just the face and voice make him want to care for his daughter. I can't imagine the pain and emptiness he felt. Then the worry about how to take care of her and try to get back to normal life while realizing its not possible. She is still the main concern.

The staples in her head, try as he might, Mr. Creed can't deny that's definitely where the coroner put her head back together. The delivery on the line "back from where?" is perfect.

Not sure if he is disturbed by her recounting her death or the realization that by brining Church back to life, he ultimately contributed to her demise.

I know sometimes when a person loses a child they become so heartbroken that they would do anything to bring them back but really you shouldn't mess with the balance of things. He shouldn't have done what he did. Because now he has brought back someone that although they say I love you they really don't feel that.

Although alot of folks hated this switch up but nonetheless the girl who played Ellie done a pretty damn good job with what she had to work with. The way she acts whenever she makes her dad uncomfortable is like showing how much it enjoys feeding off there sadness, dread, and despair. It's heartbreaking to watch if you put yourself in Louis shoes.

3:56 I like to think that there’s still bit of Ellie’s soul inside her around this part and she tries to tell her dad that she loves him before they go to sleep. Also I Like how Ellie tells Louis I love you, but we clearly see later on in the film that she doesn’t😂. (She tries to kill him)
