This movie demonstrates how to fabricate an anti-swan neck orthosis using a rolled oval 8 method. The purpose is to prevent hyper-extension of the PIP joint in the swan neck deformity.

Can these be made for toes? I am apparently extremely odd and have swan neck deformity in 6 of my toes now and the beginning of 2 others. Yes, I said swan neck. My Ortho has never seen it in toes and doesn't really know what to do with them, he's worried about doing surgery unless they get really painful and suggested I try an oval 8, but I need a custom since the ones you buy are for fingers and don't fit.
