Button-Hole Orthotic for Swan Neck or Trigger Finger

An occupational therapist (OT) and certified hand therapist (CHT) demonstrates the technique to fabricate a custom button-hole, ring-style finger orthotic to prevent PIP hyperextension for Swan-Neck injuries or, when made volarly, to prevent PIP flexion to reduce finger triggering.

Materials Needed:
1/16 inch Smooth, High-Stretch Thermoplastic such as Orfit
Hole Punch
Scissors
Massage Oil or Cream
