It crashes whenever I have my extra drive plugged up, for it to work I have to unplug the drive from my laptop and load up the launcher and then i can plug it up

For everyone still having issues, go to control panel, click uninstall programs. Then right click Epic Games Launcher. and click repair, then after, go to your Epic Games Launcher shortcut or like the thing on your desk, then right click, go to properties ---> compatibility ----> and then check on run as aministrator.

Hey my friend I need help! i am using VR Oculus Rift s which needs NVIDIA driver and Vulcan RT, but my VR game Fishermans tale crashes with same error of Ue4 fatal error and cant even launch the game! i figured out that by removing Vulcan RT with DDU software help to run the Fishermans tale game, but after that the Oculus rift S doesnt work! I have same problem with Project cars 3 and also Half life Alyx, Please if anyone knows help me! for me, the solution was to just install epic games launcher again and the newest graphic drivers, and the crash stopped showing. after opening epic games launcher with that solution, it started to update itself and afterwards i could use epic games launcher freely and without uninstalling any of my games i installed earlier.
