I really wish I picked up a Micro when I had a chance. I remember seeing one in Circuit City back in 2007

I loved my micro because you could “pause” a game and turn off the game boy. Then come back later at that same point. Kinda like a save state on emulators now.

I have one of these and it’s on of my favorite systems I own as I can sneak it into work and play it during work and quickly put it away

The Micro felt more like a gimmick than a legitimate evolution in the Game Boy lineage in my opinion. Still a cool piece of Nintendo history though.

Actually, my favorite Game Boy, small, super comfortable at my hand, and easy to take it with me on excursions

I had a gameboy micro, i was going through drug addiction and sold it for $20 now that im 4 years sober im trying to buy another one. Mine was red and gold

They really did have the Nintendo switch formula back when.
Just had to wait for the technology to catch up.

The GBA micro came out around the same time the DS lite was being sold. I always wondered if a Nintendo hire up saw the bottom screen/ portion of a DS lite and said wouldn’t it be interesting if we made a gba lite.
