Yes, this may technically be the least feature-rich GBA, but man do I love the darn thing. The screen is bright and crisp with a razor-sharp image, it's sleek, compact and perfect for the myriad of turn-based RPGs on the GBA.
And of course, the swappable face plates are cool as heck

I remember when Walmart got these, and reduced their prices down to around $50, or less. I picked up 2 of them, 1 of which has only been opened after I purchased it, just to make sure it worked, and I still own both of them, even now, in 2024. It completely blows me away with how much they currently go for on eBay. Never even crossed my mind back then, that those little dinky things would ever be worth anything, at all. In hindsight, I really wish I'd purchased a few more, just to have them to sell now. Lol.

I love the aesthetic the Game Boy micro gives, a tiny handheld that can fit anywhere. The New 3DS may have taken inspiration from the Game Boy micro’s customisable front plates!

Fun fact: There is an ad to promote this console. To promote it, Nintendo had an experiment: they put a rat in a maze with two goals, a piece of Swiss cheese🧀 and a GBA Micro 🎮 . The mice didn't went for cheese though, he climbed over the wall just to do the...
