Not her first time trying to kidnap? Wow the justice system truly is screwed up.

That nanny deserves a raise and a huge bonus.

We need to know her face so we can protect the children from her when she’s released!

I was almost kidnapped as a kid in the 80’s. I used love being squished between the clothing racks. My mom turned away for a quick moment to look at something and she told me she saw a woman attempt to take me out of the store. It was a really safe area too. She caught up to her immediately and told her off. This stuff has been happening for a long time. Definitely do not let your guard down parents. Stay safe out there.🌸

How come we're not heralding the Nanny? She saved his child AND her own, according to this report..

Even though the suspect is in custody, they should show the picture so parents can see since the justice system has already failed to protect the community.

Need to fix the homeless issue by putting the mentally ill in mental hospitals, drug abusers in rehab facilities, truly homeless in shelters, and clean up the streets.

When I was about 7 yrs old and my twin brothers were 3 yrs old, a woman grabbed one of my brothers while we were playing at our swing. I screamed and held on to my little brother till she let him go. Our Ma jumped at the woman and kept hitting her till the cops arrived. I remembered being really scared and crying a lot that day. Da built tall fences around the yard after that and we always kept it locked when we play outside.

Good job to the parents who intervene....followed the woman...and especially the nanny....the system is messed up. Some people do not deserve a 2nd chance

It’s ok, Chesa will make sure she gets immediately released on her own recognizance, thereby mitigating any more trauma she might suffer by being arrested for multiple kidnapping attempts

That’s crazy. I would make that nanny part of the family now. Little boy will learn about this in the future and be grateful.

One reason more why we don't go to SF no more and is such a shame how horrible the city has become

Sorry, but if you live in SF, you can't say you're shocked by this.

This is what happens when normal people, who just want to live their lives - are forced to live with people who belong in mental institutions.Where's that 100 MILLION dollars going, that is supposed to be helping with the homeless/mental issues here in S.F.? Yes - 100 MILLION dollars PER YEAR!

Is it me or is it trendy nowadays to excuse all crimes with mental illness.

SF looks to be a very dangerous city, not unlike every major city in the US.

When I was 13 I was walking with my little sister who was 3 at the time to my friends house to bring her family oranges from our tree and this man was following us getting closer and faster until he was right behind us and tried to grab my sister. I dropped the oranges, grabbed her so fast, and started screaming for help and running and he chased us all the way home. I still have panic attacks over it because just the thought that my sister could of lost her life that day kills me
