I have persistent depressive disorder and PTSD .. im off of meds rn because im having a baby and it has been hard, especially falling into major depressive episodes, I tried this breathing technique earlier because I was just overwhelmed and it works!! Thank you Doctor Amen ...

Not sure where I originally saw this but I’ve used it, taught my kids and teach my patients and it works!! I love that you are suggesting it as it validates it all the more anytime I hear professionals suggesting it too! ❤🎉

So true. Most people take short breaths, almost like panting. I believe this slower breathing is relaxing!

I did my intake today and found out that although insurance is not accepted, for the price of a used car, I could finance the services that I have needed all my fifty-four years!! Since school just started and I’m a broke substitute teacher, I’m planning for starting my Amen Clinic Psychiatric Experience by the end or beginning of this or next year!
