One polynomial can be prime if it can't be factored. Two polynomials are relatively prime if they have no common factors between them, other than constants. Prime numbers can't be factored. Relatively means comparatively, or in relation to something else. For two polynomials to be considered relatively prime, their greatest common factor will only be 1. We show two examples of finding common factors for polynomials. Please be respectful with your comments or you will be permanently blocked from ever commenting, or asking for help.
