Also for nasal constants m and n, their pronunciations get swallowed into the preceding vowel(s).

For the letter e it makes it so you pronounce the preceding constants and drops the nasal qualities of nasilized letter clusters.

As an Italian that studied French, teachers teach the word "deposito" meaning deposit, to remember the silent consonant DePoSiTo + REXZ . Idk it was so funny thinking at French consonants being deposited in a T-Rex😂
