Hi Jennifer! Thank you for your encouraging words! Examples: 1) The weather in that South-Eastern Asian city is very changeable. Last month it rained day in, day out. This month has been as dry as dust. It's either feast or famine for sure! 2) Either one is not an ideal situation. 3) Either one of these situations is not helpful. 4) Look, that lamp is hideous! In this context "either" could mean "any one" of all.
1. Either Mike or John will help you. 2. Any one of them will help you.
"Neither" could mean "no one"
1. Neither of them will help you.
2. No one will help you...
