1:00 I always get chills at this part to the end this was already my favorite jojo opening but this is even better than the original somehow. They did a really good job with this alternate version.

I love this intro! Going into DiU, after watching stardust crusaders and seeing the artstyle of DiU, I thought it was gonna be horrible. But now, it's one of my favorite parts in anime. It was really unique, and I enjoyed it so much, almost as much as Stardust crusaders.

As someone once described it to me, I love that one take is: kire trying to rewind back everything and get away with the perfect crime, and it almost works. But he will never be able to go past Justice o'clock as they find out it was him all along and he has to answer for all his crimes.

I like how in reverse, it seems like Hayato no longer will remain under the will of Kira, instead in reverse he shows a face of determination and thinking in a way to save everyone

I know most people prefer Stand Proud and Bloody Stream over this one, but Great Days is my favorite almost half because of these openings. So many details in version 1 have different meanings in version 2. Like when it shows Hayato at the table in version 1, it's indicative of Hayato's futility and Kira's control over him. Whereas in reverse, it's reflective of the time loop he's stuck in and how it's set in stone that Kira will place Hayato's hat on his head. I love that symbolism.

This OP has such a hopeless and doomed feeling to it especially when tied in with Kira getting even stronger.
