Something i just realized upon watching Phantom Blood again. The Manga Pannel montage at the beginning starts from Stone Ocean backwards to Phantom Blood. So now that Stone Ocean is out, that means we have officially come full circle.

The first opening shows literally every future jojo. Completely goes over new viewers heads. I only knew of Giovanni so when i saw him at the beginning i assumed that he was not jojo but a side character.

What I notice just now is that the flames in Jonathan's eyes in 1:07 is what referred to as "dark determination" (when a character with malicious intentions briefly supersedes their moral compass, ie murder), something that first appeared in Part 6 and explained in Part 7.

Just re-watch this intro to see that the first thing we see is Jolyne. I believe the aminators for this intro were always intending to come bac 10 years later to return for the final episode of Stone Ocean
