I just got the signal in all black . Ordered the black sharpener and rod separately, so no more yellow. Looks sweet . I have the surge and wave + too but this is definitely my favorite . I think I’m going to sell the wave + honestly . Don’t really see the point of having both. Multi tools are kind of addicting haha.

Best tip for these is to stuff cotton into the whistle. Make it non functional but great having a portable tinder pouch!!! 😂

If you like a small edc pen, try the 58mm victorinox models that come with one. They have a decent grip (with tool extended), pressurized ink and are way more durable than you would think (more durable than the space pen, for example). But for a larger full-grip option, I think the Pokka Pen is hard to beat!

Those 2 bit holders that fastened together - is that a personal mod of yours? So otherwise the 2 bit holders would just press fit together in Patten's sheath?

Hey brother how is it going! I just wanted ask you a question! Do you think that I can get a bit driver out of the wave or the curl?? I know that they have the adapter for the screw driver! But I think I would just want the bit driver installed inside of the Leatherman Free P2 or Free P4! So please let me know what you think about it!

I'm not a huge fan of the Signal, I think the Wave, Surge or Super Tool 300 provide more functionality for outdoor purposes and have a straight and serrated edged blade. If you don't have or forgot your dedicated nice you could filet a fish or clean game if necessary. The combo edge blade kind of hinders these tasks depending on what you what to do. For cutting cordage, rope or shaving tender for fire its fine but for lighter more delicate tasks, not so much.

So all of this is can be bought online hmmm. I love Signal but there is a couple of things that can done better. You would figure Leatherman by now would be selling these types of mods so that they could squeeze a little more money out of the multi tool.

Those aren’t mods. Those are optional accessories. Scrounge up some parted out SAKs, Gerbers, or different model leathermans. Then fire up your drill press and the angle grinder and get back to us.
