In this video we take a look at Hypersmooth 5.0 on the GoPro Hero 11 Black.
Hypersmooth is GoPro's award winning in-camera stabilization which reduces camera shake, creates the smoothest footage possible and eliminates the need for a gimbal.

The GoPro Hero 11 Black features four Hypersmooth modes: Off, On, Hypersmooth Boost and Autoboost.
Autoboost - a brand new Hyersmooth feature on the GoPro Hero 11 Black - lets the camera decide what level of stabilization your footage requires according to the movement of your GoPro.

In this video I show you how to set the right Hyperboost settings for your GoPro adventures and put the lastest version of Hypersmooth - 5.0 - to the test.

Nice work mate. Can you do another video to this one that shows what happens with Hyper Smooth on when you pan left & right, and pan up & down. It should show that it's best not to use the highest setting "Boost" for these applications as you get a stutter effect as the GoPro tries to lock the scene in the frame and then jumps once you've panned too far.

Good video. Hypersmooth is another word for image stabilization.
Trying to decide whether to buy a GoPro or a DJI Osmo. Will probably go with GoPro as it can be attached to a helmet.

So the difference between 3 and 5 is minimal. I mostly shoot with it off now and fix it in post.
