The necklace, the bracelet, the watch, the ring, the shirt, the jacket, the hair, the moustache. He looked more like a playboy than a comic book artist. Legend.

To think Spider-Man was considered a joke back then, now he’s the most recognizable face in Marvel

This is the longest I’ve seen him without his glasses.

Dude was 55 years old when he did this interview and he was as energetic and engaging as a guy half his age. Stan The Man was truly one for the ages.

70's Stan looks like he's ready for some wild times.

This is exactly why Spider-Man 2 is one of the best Marvel movies ever made. College, grades, financials, work stress, making time for family, friendships, heartbreak, time for yourself and setting your priorities straight. Way more relatable than flying around and being indestructible.

"the world is so crazy, if you present things the way they really are it comes across as broad satire"

I don't think this could be more true nowadays

Notice how Stan Lee Is surrounded by people who don't take him seriously in this interview yet he stays confident and charismatic, and now his memory will live on until the end of time. Just because people don't understand you and ridicule you doesn't make them right, keep doing what you believe In despite the criticism of others because your work can end up inspiring millions

Insane, he was 55 even back in 1977, 4 years before I was born..now I'm almost 40! I swear I thought this guy would be immortal and outlive us all.

Wow he was an older dude even in the 70s. Still cool though.

"I can't have Spiderman fly through the air like certain other guys who have capes and big letters on their chest." Stan Lee doesn't miss any oportunity to roast DC.

I've never seen video of him younger before. It's like hearing old Stan Lee in someone else's body lol.

"The brains and creativity of ONE man created all these characters". Stan really knew how to sell that image, even if it made a lot of other creators hate him.
