This is an underrated shoulder movement that can not only add roundness to your shoulders but also help keep them healthy. External rotation is extremely beneficial to keeping the shoulders healthy which is part of the reason why I use external rotation during the bent over lateral raise.

I recently saw a study that shows that this exercise activates the side delts more than most other exercises. It's probably my favorite for side delts. I'll be sure to try externally rotating like you mentioned. Thanks Mountain!

I remember this movement in the shoulder workout video. Can't do to much pressing movement like shoulder press. Gotta do external rotation. It took me a few workouts to fine-tune the movement. Making small adjustments using lighter weight and getting the right groove. Months later, I had friends telling me my shoulders looked bigger. Now I always do this movement as part of my shoulder training. Mountain!! 💪 ⛰️ /~\
