Lightsaber doesn't bounce, VFX Rework- Kenobi Fanedit

Using the VFX, this is my take on matter of lightsabers bouncing off the stormtrooper armor.

It was made as an experiment in VFX and editing, and will feature multiple breakdowns and tutorials with the goal of promoting creative thinking and filmmaking technology. I respect the original creators of the series and the series overall. Without it, this edit and, all the other fan-art wouldn't be possible.

I didn't forget about Anakin, I just didn't feel the need to mention him because it was pretty obvious. anybody who knows Star Wars knows about that and he was also one of the big bads, so you COULD make the argument of "drastic measures" if you wanted to.

Love it. Delimbing is what a lightsaber does. It doesn’t make Kenobi a villain ignore those people. They forget that he delimbed the guy in the bar in a new Hope to protect Anakin’s kid. Makes sense why he does it here too.

Honestly it's quite a shame that this wasn't in the actual show. Looks flawless and they clearly could have done it so the lightsaber didn't look so dorky.

I agreed that the bouncing Saber is stupid but Decapitation kinda makes Kenobi look villainous imo but I suppose it's the logical result haha

Awesome. Ashoka's battle at the beginning of her initial live action on the Mandolorian was done well (albeit in a fog situation). On the other hand, Obi-wan in that Inquisitor torture room was just the opposite, and making it dark for the battle just brought out the flaws even more. Your re-edit (reacted?) version is so much what we should have gotten. Thanks.
