Kenobi: Trials Of The Master Trailer #2 Changes Comparison

"Kenobi: Trials Of The Master" is a feature-length fan retelling of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. It uses the footage from the Series with other films in the franchise, and utilizes VFX, editing and new footage to create a completely new take on the story. It is intended to entertain and inspire the fan base, as well as to educate the upcoming artists on the possibilities of modern filmmaking.
This is not intended to interfere, or belittle, or replace the original series in any way. That's not even possible, and that was never my intention. And if it was even possible, I would never want it. This is my personal take on the story, and my ultimate love letter to the Star Wars universe.
This whole educational project wouldn't be possible without the artists and the entire creative team that made the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, so go and watch it on Disney+.

-Since many of you expressed the wish to see the comparison between the new shots and the original series, I did a quick edit for you.
For the sake of seeing the difference better, I left the original footage as-is, without retiming, flipping or regrading.

Even though I am using majority of the shots in the series, the context of them is completely changed, so much so they can also be considered "New shots", but the dramatic impact of it you'll see when the film comes out.

As the time goes on, you'll see more videos like this, including guided breakdowns for the more complicated shots.

The colors look so much better here. Everything is clear and vibrant. I don't understand why so many films and shows now seem afraid to add some color. Even the superhero films have muted or dulled colors.

I've watched this like 10x. Noticed you used an ep of boba fett, that's brilliant. Yoda looks amazing. Qui gons crystal, the added ship blasting the storm troopers, the inquisitors look evil af, and how how changed that scene with the thrown double light saber. Damn dude this is brilliant.

Man, you have really leveled up everything here. It’s quite spectacular, everything is more vivid and memorable, not only did you make the locations more interesting you made what was already there look better. Absolutely fantastic.

The only improvement I could see is that shot of Obi-Wan in the cantina near the end, it looks like the footage of Ewan doesn’t quite line up with the hood. It just seems a little out of place or like an unfinished photoshop if that makes sense. Took me out very slightly but everything else is unbelievably good for a one-man VFX project. Cannot wait to watch it later this year.

Its not even an exaggeration of how much better everything looks. You just embarrassed a studio full of actual people that work on star wars projects with millions of dollars at their disposal with your much humbler smaller at home set up lol.

SOMEONE gotta send this to Star Wars Theory or get this trending, as soon as more was shown from 0:50 and then on it was all for me feeling the feels!!
Especially the shots when Kenobi and Vader were fighting and you see the environment look grand with the lighting shot.
The highlight for me was when that thunder sound changed Vader to Anakin and it truly looked well blended like he was there.
Bravo man👏
Felt like a movie trailer, it all felt natural with the music and scenes!!

THIS is what Star Wars Should be!!
