My father in law made over a million dollars in stocks n real estate, n he taught me about "dividend reinvestment" with ur stock, when the stock market goes low u can buy more stock n when it's high u buy less stocks. I'm 63 now I have a few stocks n reinvesting my dividends for my grand kids

I got rid of everything that doesn’t pay a minimum of 5% dividend. My best dividend stock that I have owned for 5 years plus is IEP Carl Icahn. When I originally bought the dividend was $4.00 a year and today it’s $8.00 a year or 15%. It stays in a trading range of $48 to $55 since I have owned it.
