Get Paid Dividends Every Month From Just 3 UK Companies

In this video I reveal how you can generate passive income for every month of the year by investing in just three UK FTSE 100 companies. I have recently analysed the full index and have recorded the months when these companies usually pay their dividends and also the current dividend yields. The information shown in this video should enable you to select a small portfolio of your choice in order to receive a payment every month of the year. It can be very motivating to receive regular payments in the form of dividends. For over a decade I have been investing in mainly UK large cap companies which have strong balance sheets and who pay reliable streams of passive income in the form of dividends. I always reinvest the dividends and allow them to compound over time. I use a stocks and shares ISA on the Barclays Smart Investor platform to shelter my investments from tax. By utilising a simple long term strategy I hope to achieve financial independence and have the option of retiring early if I wish to do so.

How many months in the year do you receive dividends?

I would love an etf version of this. Im young and some of those companies probably wont exist in the future

I picked BP, as I'm basically broke but realised that if I saved the cash I spend on frivolous sh*t (like, why spent 4.50 on a Costa, when that's the price of one share in BP) so went with their share price. Not the best reason, but it gets me into the market until I can build the portfolio up

Great video, the power of dividend investing is real and moving into 2023, we are only going to get another year worth of volatility AKA the necessity for DGI!

Good video, some nice points. I have about half my account paying 3.5% and above in dividends (about £30k a year) and the other half in growth stocks, As an example bought Restaurant group 4 weeks ago and its up 30% already which is well above dividend return! I'd recommend a mix but with 15 years experience i would also suggest staying away from the smaller caps stocks with massive promises, they don't generally work out. Invest in large top tier companies and your portfolio will grow, read up on Rule of 72, that alone will double your portfolio if done right. Re-invest your dividends if you can!

British American Tobacco now has a dividend yield of 10%! If you bought £5000 worth of shares back in 1990 and just reinvested the dividends straight back every year ignoring all stock price moves you'd now be receiving over £28000 in dividends. So long as BATs maintains its dividend that figure will be growing ever quicker year by year. Proving that compounding has just as big an effect on income as it does on capital growth.

Appreciate the work you put into this. Thanks very useful. I wouldn’t pick American Tobacco for ethical reasons but there are plenty more to choose from.

Some nice shares, thank you for the information, what about for those who do not wish to support unethical businesses?

Thank you for sharing this video. It's very useful. The 3 dividend paying companies I hold are British American Tobacco, GSK and Imperial Brands. Is there any reason you decided to choose Unilever instead of Imperial Brands?

I did this a couple of weeks as I was setting up for next year I have gsk, Unilever, but I went for Greencoast uk wind as the 3rd as I think it will get bigger long-term
(Also Vanguard 100 and 250 and S&P 500)

I picked BP as the shares were under a fiver at the time. Just recently went back to under a fiver again so going to top up.

Great video. Glad I found your channel. Your portfolio has many of the companies I have in my portfolio. Apart from BAT which I am thinking of adding. Are you concerned about them with future decline in tobacco sales globally? That's my only concern but they r a cash machine!!!

I started teaching myself about finance growth at the end of 2020 with small change that I could afford to loose and made a whole host of mistakes along with some very lucky investments and day trades that kept the books in balance and even made small gains keeping me afloat whilst learning.
I changed my approach 4 months back after listening to you and others on here and it has been very insightful and inspirational so thank you.
I only have 1.5k in a GIA but that will be changing to an ISA in the not too distant future, probably April when I want to gain a better structure for future growth.
Once again thank you for the brilliant no nonsense approach of your videos that help keep me motivated 👍

Hello,
Firstly let me say ' hat off to you sir ' for a very interesting, educational and inspiring video . If I bought shares in these companies -
How do the dividends get to me, what form are they in and how do I know when they've been paid ?
Many thanx and I look forward to your reply .

Great vid. When buying any divi stock, do you not buy them if the price is at a 52 high or near.?
Or still buy them for the divi regardless?
Just starting out here😁

Nice video.
What is the market share of BP and Shell in UK? Which one is better? I am a bit worried about the trend of smoking in UK. Will UK government increase tax on tobacco?

I know this isn't your personal financial advice, lol, but would BAT be a bad investment now as it may be banned in the UK? I know the video is over a year old now, but what would your opinion be on this. Thanks great video btw keep up the good work!
