I'm looking to purchase the R7(?) as a second camera body to my R6. Hopefully, Canon will release more info soon. Great video. Keep up the good work! Liked and subbed (for all the right reasons).

Bird and budget sports shooters have been waiting a long time for an R7.

On the other hand, maybe Canon is planning a mirrorless line to replace the Rebel series. On the other, other hand, seems to me that there isn't a fiscal future in amateur series,

I am very excited to see what they announce.

I think that's really great for birding and wildlife. On my EOS R I'm missing the autofocus for animals and on an R7 the cropfactor's great. So, I'll buy the R7. Greetings from Germany.

At 2:47 did he say if we take a look at the 7D mark 3? Am I missing something?

As a 7D Mark II shooter that would be a camera I would be interested in.

I don't need or want an APSC camera, the R5 shoots in crop mode. But if it is reasonably priced I think there are a lot of people who want one. I still have my old ogriginal 7d and it was a great camera.

I've been wondering what Canon might have in the works for an APS camera. Take care Alex. We'll see you next time.

Sounds like an new APS-C mirrorless from Canon is long overdue. I just got a Sony NEX-3N primarily to use for astro imaging. The APS-C sensor is the main attraction and the N model can use a plug in intervalometer unlike other early NEX models. For us budget minded guys an APS-C is a better alternative than a micro four thirds or more expensive full frame. So far like the NEX but still prefer general photography with my Nikon 1 J5.

Eos R7 will never happen. Believe me. Even if it happened, it will not be what we are expected, because ut will kill the canon r6, r5 even R3

personally i'm hoping they stick to the M mount for crop with a 32mp M50 type camera, heck even merging the m6 mkII guts into the M50 body would be great

the advantage of the efm lenses is their compact physical size size, i use 400-600mm lenses on my M50 and they work very well but i also love to use the smaller lenses on a light weight small carry

the one no one will see coming is a dual mount rf crop that has an adapter ring for efm lenses
