You can still achieve brilliant portrait photos with this camera, group shots isn’t difficult either. Just work with your surroundings. I’ve had mine for just over a year but I haven’t yet unleashed the best potential yet! I love this camera!

Why is it not good for wedding or portrait photography but for wildlife good? Well I’d answer that due to the crop factor of 1.6x it gives the photographer a little extra reach. But, why not good for wedding or portrait photography? Because of it’s sensor? O dear, we are now in 2025 and I can’t believe that still people say you need a full frame sensor camera for wedding or portrait photography. So does it mean that medium format is “Over qualified” for wedding and portrait photography? I’m a fujifilm user and for portraits I use the trusty “old” 56mm f1.2 and it’s simply a dream. I have taken so many shots and compared them with a friend of mine that shoots with a “full frame” camera and so many people without even knowing have prefered the images I took with my “crop sensor” camera. But hey I’m not gonna even start another crop vs ff camera debate because it simply will not end. 😂
