UPDATED - Another way to do this is to export it as a "webm" file and select the export alpha channel option.

Your video was exactly what I was looking for as I was tearing my hair out on how to export a video with a transparent background as I wanted to use it as an alert in StreamElements..

But I have an issue that I hope you can please help me with?

When I go to export the video it says the the Size is 4.2MB but when I export the file it is 123MB? So when I try to upload this to StreamElements it's telling me that the video is too big and that I need to have video file under 30MB.

So I was wondering. Do you know how I can reduce this in size please?

Export as WebM and press export as alpha channel

Jacky, you're videos on Filmora are the best I've found on Youtube (including Filmora's official channel). I just switched over from Movavi and am finding Filmora to have way more & better features; however, I'm having a HUGE issue: When I've completed or nearly completed a large project with lots of texts, overlays, b-roll, along with multiple video elements that are 'synched' together with other elements, what's happening is things get 'out of sync' with one another if I have to make edits farther along in a big project. In Movavi you can 'link' elements to a specific spot on a track so it doesn't matter how many additional edits you make... the different project elements stay in synch with one another. The 'ripple' effect doesn't seem to make a difference, and neither does 'locking' tracks down. What am I doing wrong? Thanks a BUNCH for your help, this is VERY frustrating! Mike

What format is the video you exported with transparent background in? I follow your instructions, export video, but exports as a MP4 file. MP4 files can not hold alpha channel. It is imperative that it actually exports with alpha channel so the logos I create can be placed on any site. In your video you import the exported video to Filmora. This doesn't really prove that it was exported as an actual video with alpha channel that can be used anywhere.
