Finally!! Buzz Lightyear to the rescue, For now on, I'm going to watch a Theater to Infinity and Beyond

Saw it tonight. It was cute, but the whole "elevate X character above the titular character" made my eyes roll hard. I can go for a sequel though. And more importantly...toys for all the seen ships, the red Zyclops, Zurg's flight pack (very Anime!), and the closing scene suits!

I saw this in IMAX. Select scenes took up the entire screen, and Pixar made the ratios transition flawlessly

I saw the movie tonight and I loved it. I had a few minor issues with it but overall, it was a 9/10.

I’ll never understand why this Lightyear spin-off is being hated like this. This movie was truly a masterpiece. I’ve seen lots of amazing Pixar movies and I have to be honest, I love Lightyear very much. Sox is a very adorable robot kitten, Buzz’s beep-booping companion who’s always their to guide him, and his space ranger friends are really good sidekicks. Keke Palmer nailed it as Izzy. Also, they can’t ban Lightyear in other countries just because of *ONE* kissing scene. It’s too silly of them to do that. They could’ve just cut that scene off in other countries. Regardless, Lightyear is truly, incredibly, amazingly an awesome interstellar experience. It doesn’t deserve *THAT* much hate, people. I’m not letting another Pixar film “wear the cone of shame” like Cars 2 (which is ALSO my childhood and that sequel deserves more love as well honestly!) 10/10 for this film AND Cars 2.

Yesterday, I got the Lightyear recruits to the rescue set which was very cool. I benefited from getting that set because I didn’t have Izzy, Mo, or Darby before I got it. Also, I got the Lightyear Busy Book which wasn’t as awesome. The quality of the figures is pretty awful but I guess if you want to get all of the main characters in Lightyear in one set at a cheap price, I guess it’s a fine option.
