I finally decided to try repairing Edge. I now have a browser that I don't recognize and that doesn't behave (in the good ways that Edge did work) the same as before. Microsoft really is trying to drive me away!

Personally, I just don't use Edge. I've been using a lesser-known browser for years. It's never had a problem on any site and does what I need a browser to do. I can't search the web from my desktop but I've set hotkeys that open the browser in about a second.

there's a folder that contains your Edge browser data. One solution you could do is delete that folder. It will not uninstall edge but it will factory reset it.

Edge has become such a bloated piece of junk. Now I need to figure out a way to uninstall Edge, reinstall an old version and keep all my settings in place ffs. I'm on a Mac so thankfully this stupid crappy browser isn't embedded into the OS. I used to use Windows but if I get a new PC I'm going Linux.

Hello Leo. I was able to use a tool like revo Uninstaller Uninstaller Edge completely. Whet I was done, I reinstalled it.

My Edge started acting up 2 weeks ago, and randomly log me out of all websites. The auto cleaning setting has been the same as always and does NOT clean up cookies. Tried all kinds of fixes but none of them work. Switch those Chrome, but i HATE the thin font it uses on all websites.

yes you can uninstall it with script i did it on my friends laptop cause he did not want edge so used script and removed it for him on a side not revo ininstaller can remove it also
