10 Most Intelligent Indian People Ever

“Indians are the most intelligent people in the world”

Greatest conceit of Indians — we are the most intelligent people in the world. Have had colleagues who have dissed various nationalities for being less intelligent than Indians. If we’re so intelligent, why are we so poor?
Two arguments are given:
Our population is high.
Counter: The correct metric here is density of population vis a vis cultivable land area. I’m confident there would be many, many nations which would score higher in this criteria and still have more wealth than India. Also, to get the population this high in the first place is not an intelligent thing to do.
2. Lack of natural resources.
Counter: Odisha is rich in natural resources and yet is among the poorest states in India.
Given a bell curve of intelligence, assuming 1% of any country’s population is super-intelligent, India’s numbers would be 10 million. This is higher than the population of many nations!
And finally, the metaphysical argument: wealth is not an end goal of intelligence.
Sure. But a basic standard of living for every citizen certainly is a goal of an intelligent populance.
Conclusion: we are as intelligent or unintelligent as any other nation out there. We lack in intelligence of political and economic organization which has led us to being among the poorest countries in the world.
