MSFS 2020 - Performance gains in Sim Update 15

In today video, I'll go through recently streamed Developer update during which Sim Update 15 was discussed. I found the performance part most interesting, hence I decided to make this video so everyone can get excited for the performance gains we could be seeing in just one month.

I have always enjoyed the MSFS catalog. But as someone who has an Intel 13, 9K. I REALLY wish they had made better use of multi-core with FS2020. I'm excited to see what FS2024 brings.

I'd love to know what secrets and settings they use for their "test rig". i just upgraded to an ASUS RTX 4090 and have an i7-12700k with 64Gb of DDR4 Ram and can't break 30 FPS at LAX. They still need to optimize a ton. The gpu only maxes out at 32% and the CPU at 36%. If you're not using hardware, it's not the systems fault.

It’s garbage … went from solid 30-35 on ground and a perfect 60 in the air to 20’s on the ground and 40-50 in the air

MSFS never will be great. It’s a badly coded attempt to a flight simulator with a pathetic camera system.
