Brilliant Jason, as a new Linux user that's quite probably the best, simplest and most useful customisation I've seen of Gnome on Debian. I don't want or need an infinite amount of customisation, just a few small tweaks as I prefer functionality over a mass of visual gimmicks. As close to vanilla normally works best for me, so thanks a bunch. Liked and subscribed.

You make me wanna move from KDE to GNOME. I'm currently using siduction as my daily driver. I have a Chromebook with Manjaro KDE installed. I'm gonna install GNOME over that.

Hey bro, whats up?
First of all, I want to say thank you so much for show us this beautiful and simple customization. I was using Ubuntu 22.04 but I was unsatisfied with it, and changed to Pop!_OS, but also I feel unsatisfied with COSMIC. It's been a while since I wanted to use a stable Linux distribution like Debian or some based on it. And mainly, I liked Gnome a lot, and so your video fit like a glove for me.

Hi there! Very cool customization video guide, I've been trully like it!
But into debian 12 rolling sid now GNOME are already 44.0 and for those versions since 43.3 has been released extension manager (blue puzzle icon by default)
- also with that you dont need gnome extensions anymore (green puzzle icon) - because all extensions will be install by internal method

Hi and thanks for all your videos. They've truly helped me get my bearings around this Debian Linux derivatives. Jay, I installed Debian 11 BullsEye as a pre-requisite to hardened my OS. Now, if I had a choice of which OS to harden, I would like my rig's main OS to be Arch Linux and leverage KickSecure security hardening scripts to then load a HyperVisor to host WHONIX Gateway to route my Kali, Black Arch and Parrot linux VMs through. :) Can you, create a how to for this? I got Black Arch installed, but got stumped in trying to "morph it to Parabola" or "Hyperbola", so I gave in and re-imaged my rig with Debian 11 BullsEye, just to also get stumped installing the deb packages that convert the pre-installed Debian 11 BullsEye or, as in my preference - Arch Linux. Can you, please, do a how to convert an Arch Linux OS host to KickSecure using the deb packages? Please & thanks in advance! - Anonymous Jones
