These are great shorts! I love the longer videos and lives but these are so helpful for a recap on what to do.

Excellent video! I will do this to our onions if they grow. Also, it’s nice that you mentioned about not wasting the parts you trimmed. Be well.

Just learnt another really good tip Nate. Just by giving a hair cut to the onions.
Great! Thanks friend. 💚💚💚💚🇿🇦

I have seen people say trim and others saying not to trim. It's so confusing. But your explanation makes sense. Thanks!

I did not know this! Thank you. This is the first year I plan to start my own onion seedlings, i usually buy from nursery and it’s so hard to find red onion starts as they sell out fast so I bought seed dead of winter and am ready to go. I saw the bought ones were trimmed and always thought why do that that harms them? But now ok I get it, they fall over stop growing and spindly. So I wonder, .. I have always had some not grow big and stop and their tops fell over from a storm. Windy spot after all so maybe I should consider a gentle trellising of the tops in the garden so storms can’t break them over maybe I would get more big ones. I could use the old garden hose that leaks and I haven’t thrown away yet, smooth surface string it up both sides of the onions that might work for onion trellis. Experiment time. Very cool.
