I’m in Zone 9a and I plant onion sets every 20th of October. I have gotten some big beautiful onions 🧅 every year. I grow red, white, and sweet yellow onions. Also do green onions and garlic too. Love your channel 👩🏽‍🌾

Mine usually end up falling over to the side when they get bigger, but I’ve been planting deeper than that. Maybe that’s the issue I’ve been having 🤔 it’s counterintuitive but I hope that helps keep them upright!! 🤞

I did the roots and covered slightly around it -still not big as yours, mine are like golf ball size, how long does it take to grow that big ???
