Why are they not stopping companies/people buying a large number of tests and then selling them to pupils for a higher price?
This needs to be addressed

Can’t say I agree with the 28 day rule. When I was learning I failed my test for a silly error but I didn’t need an additional 4+ weeks of lessons to rectify it, it was just one of those things that could happen to anyone. It should be at the discretion of the learner and the instructor if they think they are ready to rebook yet or not, they shouldn’t be forced to wait 28 days. Just my opinion though

There is already a 6 month wait to book a test
If I fail my test then I will have to wait a month to book a test in 6 months

Passed my test yesterday at first attempt. So glad I don't have to deal with this again. The 2nd change is not necessary. It's already difficult to get a date anyway.

People could fail due to the actions of another road user.
It's unfair having to wait a whole month for retest meaning, all that practice will go to waste if they don't keep taking lessons for another month. Obviously good for the instructors since they get paid regardless 😂

The second change doesn't make sense to me!! I mean, I failed my first one due to nerves but booked the second as soon as I could and passed with flying colours! I feel if I had a whole month to wait for another test I'd need to be paying my driving instructor for loads more lessons just to keep up practice :/

Ridiculous. Adds even more pressure to an already stressful test. I have to wait until September as it is having started learning in March. You love giving people serious faults for silly things so know how easy it is for fail and now you have to wait another month and pay for more lessons during a cost of living crisis. Excellent

Of course you don't think it's a bad thing. It's more money in lessons for you until their next test. For the learner, it would be very frustrating

It is to alleviate the atrocious waiting schedules for a practical exam because there's a lack of examiners. Essentially clearing the huge disastrous backlog of learner drivers caused by covid restrictions. The lack of effort from the government is appalling.

I failed my test today due to nerves and a stupid error. I have rebooked my test again today for October which is 5 months away. Fuming ain't the word 😅

It’s a good job I’ve passed mine over a year ago and I feel sorry for all the learners that they have now have to wait for ages if they have failed their test and have to wait for a long time

it already takes 6 montsh to book again, njot enough test centres.
