The hour was late, all hope seemed lost. Then I saw him in his full glory, Dr. Hanson. Here to save yet another test, thank you sir.

Professor Hanson, thank you for a beautiful explanation and analysis of 3D Statics on a Particle. This review problem was time consuming, however, I really understand it for start to finish.

It was a good coincidence that I put the same distance before solving it as you did for hanging weigth.(I stop the videos and solve. Then check for the solution)

Shouldn't the co-ordinates of D be D(-1, 0, 4)? because X = -1 at point D?

I got a bunch of negative tensions on my first try, and then I realised that I had put the weight as a z-coordinate. xP

Good afternoon sir, I'm not sure how you typed this into your calculator. I used the matrix method, (Fx is row 1, Fy is row 2, Fz is row 3) and used rref() on that matrix and I didn't get the right answer. So I used systems of equations solver with the same rows and still got the same wrong answer. Please how do I use the calculator so solve this? Thank you so much for your help.

love your videos and really appreciate the help, but i don’t understand why the vector w is not -8000j cuz its magnitude is 800lbs and lambda hat is -10j, isnt 800 x -10j = -8000j?
