I like how the theme music starts with the guitar (Light) & piano (L) interspersed with drum beats (Soichiro) indicating the start of the Kira investigation. Then the discordant guitar almost drowns everyone out which I undertood as Soichiro trying to defend his son's innocence/ Light manipulating his father & everyone to the bitter end.
