Honestly one of the things i love about near is his subtle exciting smile realizing he's finally figured out something vital for solving the case.

There's going to be a live action Death Note: 0:07

I really like the scene with Matsuda being confused because while we can easily binge watch deathnote nowadays. When the manga was releasing weekly near introduction is 30 something chapter later so its a good refresher. Also with Matsuda pointing out that even if the rule is fake that doesnt mean Light is Kira is a nice way to show that proving Light is Kira wouldnt be a simple as pointing out contradictions.

One reason why I love near. Light was very stressed loll

This scene lacks details compared to the manga. In the manga, Near talks about Kira being among the task force as an hypothesis, to spread doubt among the task force and destabilize Light. And the fact that Light tries to make the shinigami lie just makes his hypothesis stronger. There he just says « I have guessed everything, you are Kira and you make the shinigami lie ».
In the manga there is a more progression in the confrontation. Near only accuses the second L directly when Kira’s fanboys attack the SPK because now there is not much more doubts and he must spread the doubts among the task force quicker in the case they all get killed.

1:02 that is the last thing I would've said if I were Kira. If Near questioned about the 13 day rule, I would've said that no one should have the power to kill so many people by desire so easily, therefore it should come with a price, that being the person need to consistently write names for 13 days.

I don’t care what anyone says I love the second half of the show. Sure the passing is a bit off, but it does keep the show consistent and I love how Kira slowly is losing control of things, like when he gave up a notebook when mello took his sister.

Clearly Near Could See through Light Bro Knows he isn't L..

Why was the Shinigami with Light and crew there in the first place? Did they have one of the notebooks at that point? I forgot

I get so mad at people who misunderstand why L actively figures things out and Near just knows.
Look up Ne vs Ni immediately.
L is INTP and uses Ne to talk out possibilities. Near is INTJ and uses Ni to come to subconscious epiphanies.

This scene doesn't make any sense. How could Near even hear Ryuk without touching the notebook?
