If it's 100% against death I'd call that 100% effective in general. After all that's everyone's main goal in this whole thing..to not die!

If the people want the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, it doesn't matter. It's whatever the state, or local immunization place has, that the people will receive! Dr. Ashish is fortunate to get which ever he wants. The people do not have that choice. I just wanted to add some deeper thought questions people might want to know.

Efficacy in each clinical trial is measured by comparing COVID rates between the vaccinated group and the placebo group during a window of time specific to that trial. As I understand it, with a 1 dose trial, J&J used a 28 day window beginning immediately after innoculation. It takes time to develop the immunal response in the body. Others used a 2 dose regimen so they measured efficacy in a different time window starting at, or after, the second dose. Comparing the two efficacy numbers is apples to oranges. J&J numbers would certainly have been better if measured in the same timeframe as others. Be careful drawing conclusions without understanding the details.

But you haven’t seen the full data and the FDA has not approved J&J so why push it.
