I respect MatPat for trying to not make this scary. I often get a feeling that might get jumpscared or otherwise freaked out when I find or am about to find some secret inside a game just because I did a few times when I was younger. I feel like so many games make their secrets somewhat scary even though most of them aren't in the end.

MatPat, you should write a theorist handbook on the techniques you've used over the years. You could include little puzzles people could solve, and even hide clues to a bigger puzzle. I'd buy something like that in a second!
