Praziquantel for aquariums was the affordable way to treat cats for tape worms. Use the same dosage as the bottle stuff but the bottle stuff is $15 for 3 tablets, powder was same price for THOUSANDS of dosages.

I actually had to go read up on this. We use praziquantel at my work and it says not to use it with other drugs but apparently metronidazole is an exception. If you were running it with an antibiotic like erythromycin or an antifungal like fluconazole, the prazi's retention in the body would be affected.

I made the mistake of not quaranting my first fish - a pet store Betta. It had a incurable disease, so it would of died anyways. Even though I only had the bugger for two weeks, he already taught me a huge lesson! Get a quarantine tank so you don't have to tear the tank apart. Now I'm just trying to keep my snails alive until I have a cycled tank again :'<
