Love the idea of Pizza Pasta as an early game fighter who may or may not be blatantly trying to throw the fight for a bunch of gambling mobsters and accidentally gets lost in the sauce and starts doing way too well. When he starts winning he looks INCREDIBLY worried.

I’m gonna be honest, Pizza Pasta is a character I unironically want to be in a new Punch-Out game (if there’s even a slim chance we’ll get one…), since I feel like he could be fleshed out a heckuva lot more.







I mean, it also helps that it would be kinda fun for me specifically, since I do have some Italian ancestry.

contender- closing down his pizzaria at the end of the day, going down an alleyway near it & training with the mafia

title defense- too mad to work that day, goes down the alleyway in the afternoon before the fight starts & makes a deal with the mafia, can be seen walking up to the WVBA building with a suspiciously gun shaped object in his glove afterwards

His title defense comic is him climbing the Dolomites and planting an Italian flag.

During his title defense fight, his special attack is yelling "AVANTI SAVOIA!" and charging Mac with an attack that takes away 80% of his health.

You can however instantly knock him down with a Star Punch. If you do, he says "Maledetto, Cadorna!" (Damn you, Cadorna!)
