Mr. Sandman's Career (Punch-Out!! Wii Mod Showcase)

So, if you recall, about a year ago I made a video showing off that the player character can be relatively easily swapped for one of the opponents in Punch-Out Wii.

There was a plethora of issues that didn't make it playable, though, and I kinda assumed it would be too much work to really fix. However, I was approached by the YT user Gamer Subzero, asking how I did it. After sharing the instructions, in just a couple days he managed to actually fix most of the issues and you can now experience Punch-Out from the point of view of other characters - not just Mr. Sandman, but the entire cast may be made playable.

1:01 was so brilliant, because Great Tiger got launched by an uppercut, which actually makes total sense - even more so than Little Mac's Star Punch!

Not to mention the cartoonish vibe of it all: the big, brawny man quickly uppercuts the little, wimpy man up to the sky. Add in some fitting sound effects during the hit, and you will witness true perfection.

I like to think Aaron Ryan and Mr Sandman had a legendary fight in the punch out universe
